The Soldier
Finland, 1944. A wounded Muslim soldier fighting for the German army escapes into the deep northern forests, hunted by enemy patrols and trapped between the ideals he once believed in and the brutal reality of war. His lonely flight becomes a struggle for survival, identity, and redemption as the forest closes around him like a living witness. Decades later, a filmmaker travels to the same wilderness to retrace the soldier’s forgotten journey. What begins as a historical investigation turns into a haunting confrontation with memory itself. The deeper he goes, the more the past rises to meet him — in echoes, visions, and unanswered questions.
